Definition of Seasonal Industry
A seasonal industry is a kind of corporation whose sales and profits vary inconsistent or repeatable patterns throughout the year or during course of year. It can also be defined as an industry that is dependent on weather conditions that has high and low cycles
Explanation
Fruit picking is one of the examples. Mango comes in a season so is a seasonal kind of corporation.
It does not rely on the annual sales projection only. It needs to conduct analysis month by month. The sales in some months will be higher and in some months lower. Knowing how much higher or lower those sales should be month to month will make for more accurate seasonal projections.
