How to use this tool

While making this tool, our main focus was to give you an easy way to find all your financial solution. Following color schemes will help you throughout the Bookkeeping and Financial tool.

Color Scheme:

Light blue area = Hyperlinks cells

Light green area = Input cells

Light gray area = Output cell

 

Content in the Bookkeeping and Financial Tool

“COA” (Chart of Account)  Tab

In the COA (Chart of Accounts)  tab, Head of Account is the main head, then Subaccount and the third level is the Title of Account. This tool has a hierarchy of Accounts such as

ASSETS

Current Assets

Cash in Hand

Bank

You need to put Account Number and Account name. The Title Account number is as per your choice but remember  the numbering should follow the hierarchy level such as

ASSETS

Current Assets (1000)

Cash in hand (1050)

Bank (1055)

For your guidance, I have put some examples in it. You can change them as per your according situations. Once you have done with COA (Chart of Accounts). Go to “Bookkeeping “ Tab.

 

“Bookkeeping” Tab

In the sheet, you will have bookkeeping on the left side and on the right side, you have T-Accounts.

The Double accounting system is working in the “Bookkeeping and Financial Tool”.

Month: all months are given to go in each month section. You need to simply click.

Date: the Date format is Month day, year

Head of Accounts: there is a Dropdown list is available which, is linked with COA tab. You need to select the Head of the account as per your requirement.

Reference No. you don’t need to do anything with this. It is linked cell with other sheets of the tool.

Title of Accounts: for your facility the drop-down list is available which, is linked with COA tab.

Description: add narration of the transaction according to the situation.

Debit and Credit: Put amount. You can add currency from the “HOME > Number > Currency Tab

In the right side of the “Bookkeeping and Financial Tool”, you will have T-Accounts of each Title Account with a date.

“Trial Balance” Tab:

In this sheet, you will have Monthly Trial balance of each title account with total and subtotal amounts.

“Income Statement” Tab:

This sheet is linked with Previous sheets. You will have monthly and yearly income statement for three years. You need to put the growth rate for the next two years projections.

“Balance Sheet” Tab

This sheet is also linked with previous sheets. You don’t need to put anything in it. It gathers data from previous sheets and makes proper monthly and yearly balance sheet in seconds.

To save your time in projections, Bookkeeping, and Financial Tool help by providing the next two years balance sheet. You just need to put the growth rate.

 

“Cash Flow Statement” Tab:

In the “ Bookkeeping and Financial Tool” we are using the indirect method of cash flow. You can make your cash flow statement within a second. The tools are providing you the monthly and yearly cash flow statement along with the next two year projections.

In this sheet, you will have monthly and yearly financial ratios analysis. Following ratios are in the Bookkeeping and financial tool.
