DefinitionÂ
Proof of authority is introduced in a replacement of proof of work which authorizes the new blocks in a setup and makes that blockchain more secure with their specific authorization.
Brief Explanation of Proof of Authority
Unlike the POW, the POA network has no drawbacks. It is more secure for all blockchain-based applications. This is not based on computationally intensive content but on mining with more difficulty, which provides security by the requirement of more computations.
It exchanges their account numbers and addresses to authorize only a secure node in a network. Only authorized nodes can run an instance party based on an agreed specification.
This also allowed additional users to be on a blockchain network or not.
