Definition of Year’s Maximum Pensionable Earnings-YMPE
The Canadian government under Canadian pension Plan (CPP) establishes a maximum salary level which becomes decisive of the deductions from the earnings. This is known as Year’s Maximum Pensionable Earnings (YMPE).It is more or less same as that of United States Social Security program. It results in series of monthly payments in retirements for workers.
